Nam Cheong - Top 3 Selling Traits You Should Know

Nam Cheong started to suffer selling now as predicted in my early morning top volume scan when I mentioned stocks will suffer selling in the later part.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2015/10/top-volume-scan-949am.html

While making that prediction and analyzing, my assistant also gave a sell call to all clients who long Nam Cheong to book profits to avoid suffering reactions. This service is customizable which I will share more tomorrow.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2015/10/nam-cheong-customize-your-service.html

Now comes to the part on why did we gave a bearish signal in Whatsapp? Below are the Top 3 seasons.

1. The entire market is sluggish as the bull is tired and stocks are moving up very bleakly with no power. With that in mind, the amount of activities and volume generated is not going to be strong and hence a sell call.

2. The high volume breakout as circled in the 5 min chart revealed that the Big Boys were unloading after all the open low close high breakout bar. Big Boys use this strategy to trick retailers to go long while they unload secretly to the unwary public.

3. And finally, the stock did not outperform other penny counters today and did not appear in Top Volume with vibrant activity. Instead, it was hiding at the back when sellers piling up in the queues. As illustrated in the diagram, every time where there is a breakout on retailers chasing, the stock would suffer sell down because operators knew how retailers love rising price, contrary to buying on hidden buying.

Above is the top 3 reason on why Nam Cheong is a sell. I will share more tomorrow on how to spot just before the sell down and how to buy before the breakout! Thank you for those who registered. A few more seats left before full house.

Nam Cheong - Break Out!

Nam Cheong starting to breakout after that long trading range. It seemed as though my observation was right. While the overall market is heading south, this counter was holding up well for a rebound. Looking to sell soon.

Nam Cheong - Before and After

I was watching Nam Cheong in the early morning. The screen captured from 8:59am and now 11.37am has a huge difference in price jump. The market turned sour however this stock is currently holding well. I will monitor my positions before booking $. Screen capture is important for daily scans and it's my routine to search and pick stocks. Waiting for hidden selling now. :)

Nam Cheong - Fake Breakouts

While Oceanus, Polaris had fake breakouts identified, I found another stock that exudes the same behavior!

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2013/06/oceanus-fake-breakouts.html

Nam Cheong had 3 fake breakouts identified over the past 6 months! Each time a fake breakouts was identified, the results were pretty detrimental and disappointing. It caused malaise and dismay to traders/investors if he/she has emotional barrier of cutting losses. It's even worse when the stock finally broke down further as it's harder to get detach from it to take a bigger loss. I was many times caught in a fake breakout especially when I was hopeful and greedy, however I am also quick to realize that and take small losses.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2013/04/we-holdings-crazy-or-fake-buying.html

The only time when my emotion got the best of me was when I lost 18k in Oceanus last year. I subconsciously allowed that fake breakout to degenerate and deplete my funds partially. My cut loss is usually pretty tight between 2-4 pips but this one trade my cut loss was 9 pips down!

After all these losses, I learnt something very valuable. Fake Breakouts are actually pretty easily to identify, there is no need to see the opening and closing of the bar. Time, Speed and Activity are the truth and intangible key elements towards identifying a fake breakout. It's easy to spot fake breakouts however it's difficult to control one's temptation not to chase it because it's so alluring and appealing and the fear of losing out on a breakout is something that galvanize with your ever elusive, impalpable emotion.

In my Stock Operation Course, one of the chapter was to understand and learning how to identify fake breakouts and breakdowns. After all these painful yet valuable experience, I believe I am able to concisely demonstrate the mechanics behind it and impart this powerful knowledge to the students.

Nam Cheong - Finally Turned?

Yesterday I was just blogging about my cutting loss on Nam Cheong. My buy price and sell price was 0.5 pip away.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/12/noble-rise.html

"My hit rate has almost been 95% so far and my only loss is nam cheong just because of patience issue. The stock has not broken down or triggered any cut loss level yet. I just cut it to move on to some others. In fact, the stock still looks ok, just that it is very slow."

Today the stock finally starts to move with appearance in Top Volume. How coincidence was that? Why did  it start appearing when I mentioned it yesterday? Was it a conspiracy? Should I hit rate be 100% instead of 95%? I don't know. Whatever it is, congrats to those students who went longed if you are still holding onto it!
