Keppel Corp - Swing Trade For $30,000

A recent student of mine just showed me his Keppel Corp profits for a good swing trade before Keppel plunged to a low of $7.90+. He made S$30,000 in total and was issue a cheque from Maybank KE. Well, there is no right or wrong in trading. It depends what type of trader you are. If you are a swing trader, got the direction right and doesn't mind the fluctuations, you are in for a big $$. However if you are a short term intraday trader, you are in for fast money. It all really depends on what you want and how badly you want it. Good work!!!

GEO Energy - 2015, Start of Coal Sector?

Following up my last post on Geo Energy where I mentioned that an Indonesian buyer was whacking it, today Geo Energy continued to exudes exciting and healthy form of buying activity. It could signal the start of the coal industry or is Geo Energy having a change of their business model?

Geo Energy - Indonesian Big Buyer Whacking?

As weekend is coming and the post Christmas period looms, the Singapore market is just lack of trading activity. Of course, there were some stocks moving but the movements were not huge enough to cause any jump in price. However there was this one stock that caught my attention and that was Geo Energy. The time and sales revealed that there was this one buyer who whacked 1000 lots without the lots being truncated. It could be an Indonesian buyer taking advantage of dirt cheap prices in Geo for accumulating purposes. Whatever it is, I will be watching the follow through and subsequent hidden buying activity if any. :)

Keppel Corp - Fake Breakout With Sellers

As I kept my trading plan intact on not to go long as posted on my blog yesterday, indeed, the rising prices for Keppel Corp could not last any longer with today's Fake Breakout 15 mins ago contained heavy sellers who looked to book profits and some even went short. The gap up as indicated by a cross was the culprit for this sell down as we are witnessing now.

In the near term, I can only see Keppel Corp suffering reactions and to go long on this stock again, I would need to observe hidden selling with a good timing to re enter again. As of now, it's all the sellers heaven. :)

What a bullish day in STI today! Many stocks closed at day high with price rising. It could be due to year end window dressing effect. I still did not chase so as to keep my trading plan intact. During this period of time, I decided to stay out for good first.

Keppel Corp had 4 consecutive days of breakout as of now. It seemed as though the insiders who went long is currently in profits now. After those insiders went long last 2 weeks ago, there was this one panic gap down for them to accumulate more before we see this heavy rising price which is currently as strong as a burning flame. Studying the minute chart, it revealed more hidden buying and flushes which contributed to today's gap up in prices. In the near term, I am not chasing it. :)
