SINGAPORE (May 25): mm2 Asia's earnings surged 52% to $7.63 million in the financial year ended March 31, 2016, from $5.03 million a year ago.
Its gross profit margin widened to 48% from 39.5% previously.
Revenue surged 58% to $38.3 million from $24.3 million a year earlier, boosted by additional revenue from the company's acquired subsidiary and newly-acquired cinema business.
The entertainment company says productions in North Asia contributed about 30% of its production revenue in FY2016, representing an increase of 20%.
