SingMyanmar - Coverage, Volume and Activity

On Jan 3rd 2017, an analyst report came out to initiate a buy for SingMyanmar. I saw and read that report and had attached it above. I am not so much into the fundamental news but I saw some last minute buyers whacking the stock up which made me think if the stock is still strong after some coverage. Indeed, the stock trended higher, however there was a problem, it was rising on unusual volume which pique my suspicion.

This morning, the stock hit a high of 0.64 with an amazingly high volume and then started tumbling during late trading hours. I saw the sellers volume and also the sellers are locking in temporary profits. The buy/sell Q in the market depth also started to flip where the answer was dead obvious. I wanted to short but there wasn't any scripts and hence left it out. It's ok, I will watch for the next turning point for now.

Jumbo - Another Large Volume Spike

Another large volume spike in Jumbo observed. The buyers were really absorbing and then pushing prices higher. It reached a high of 0.705 now! The first time when I gave the Whatsapp alert on Dec 28th was indeed validated by what I saw where the BBs were planning their buy up.

After they bought, prices were stagnant for a while to depress prices and then all of a sudden the fireworks kicks in. More buying from retailers when news is out and the rest is history. I found another similar stock like this but the most important right now is to wait patiently for the right timing.

Jumbo - Releasing of Strength

There is a certain power and strength in Jumbo now. The stock hit 0.7 with an amazing speed and a sheer amount of buying volume. Will it continue to trend higher or take a break first? I am gunning for some fast scalp.

Singapore Straits Times Index - Bull Run for 2017?

The market had been pretty bullish for the start of 2017. I think this bullish run may last till CNY and the only strategy now is to long on reactions. Never go long on breakouts or gap ups. Looking at the chart, for the past 2 days, the market turned so bull and beat all estimates. It came from nowhere out of my expectations. I am bullish till CNY for now but I am also cautious of sellers and look to long only at the right timing, right stocks.

Jumbo - Soaring Prices, Jump with the BBs

Today was just very surprising, many stocks ran and most stocks have prices jumped and soared higher like Jumbo, Alliance Minerals, Cogent, etc. The market suddenly turned bullish which was something I did not expect but well, I managed to see some jumping, vibrant activities in Jumbo as I blogged about this morning.

The good news for Jumbo was released yesterday and prices started to suffer some mini selling in the morning. I knew for the stock to trend higher, I would need to study the holistic view in the daily chart again one more time to check if the stock still has strength to drive further up north or not. Studying the daily revealed some absorption, flushes and a temporary selling zone. I knew the Jumbo would follow the bullish market today and move in tandem with the market. However because it's reaching the selling zone, I decided to give a Whatsapp alert to lock in profits for those my SOMM members who swung this counter last week.

Acromec - Another Deep Plunged

Another deep plunge in Acromec in the 5 minute chart. The stock reminisce what happened on Dec 20th, 2016. The buyers were pretty tired at the top and hence the sellers took control. This stock always had this behavior after a steep rise. I suggest stay out and rotate to other counters better.

Jumbo - Opening on Good News?

Jumbo ran just 1 pip after opening and met with sellers after the good news released. Buy on rumours and sell on news is absolutely correct. The stock is currently not moving and jammed now. :)

On 28th Dec 2016 @ 9:20am, I was particular interested in Jumbo that morning because there was some form of resiliency and the stock was under the strong hands of the BBs I think. The queue was also very easy to read and hence I decided to give a Whatsapp alert to all SOMM members. Soon, the stock flew and within 2 hours, pile of big volumes came in to whack the stock further up to 0.66 high and that's where i believe the stock had reached it's short term supply zone where I decided that it's time to lock in short term profits for those who are into short term trading/scalping.

Last evening at 9:42pm, good news was released and it once again validated that my observation was right on Dec 28. My job is to try to uncover stocks that might have news in play before the actual news is released. I would judge the supply/demand and the buyers/sellers to determine my course of action. I will share more in tomorrow's workshop. See you all there.

Noble Group - Intraday Profits, $2000

Just finished another intraday trade in Noble with $2000 profits. In the 5 minute chart, Noble looked as though there is a flush. Nobody knows but after that the stock started to trend higher which made it very possible that the flushed happened. Long @ 0.172 on the way up and unloaded 500 lots at 0.176 where it reached a temporary supply area. The market has nothing much today except maybe Noble and 1 to 2 more? Anyway, $2000 is better than 0. Looking forward tomorrow.

DBS - Profits Secured, $9900

This time round, my student just secured $9900 from his DBS short selling swing trade. The stock started to break down and the lines I drew were the supply/demand lines which were barriers for the stock to move higher. As the stock continues to be met with sellers, the buyers were supporting it and hence price dropped. Congrats on your DBS $9900 profits! So happy for you!

Genting SP - Breaking Down Further

Genting just broke down further with more sellers. I believe something bad or a bad news might be the causing factor to this breakdown today. The stock after a steep rise lacked of some quality buyers which then cause the price to fluctuate a little in a range before breaking down to a low of 0.88 we see now. As of now, there is a lot of sellers and the buyers have not turned up yet. I am staying sideline to see first.

Singapore Trading Counters - A New Year, 2017

Market is a little tough this morning. Stocks are not moving in the way I would expect and hence I see nothing in play at the moment. This morning opened with 2 green bar up and then suddenly those sellers came in again to sell the market for temporarily. As of now, it went into a ranging mode without much upside. Could this be a tell tale sign that the market is coming down? I am watching for my opportunity.
