STI - Don't Trade

It's very hard to trade today. Very mixed. Both short and long is equally risky. The best is don't trade and avoid any unnecessary casualty. Watch the property sector, they are strong.

Update 31/10/12, 10.30am

Both Capitaland and Yanlord shot up in the morning.

Capitaland - Profits Secured

As blogged earlier in the morning about day trading, I did what I preached and that is be nimble and day trade. I shorted Capitaland at 3.28 and covered at 3.27. Well it's only 1 pip but nevertheless look at Capitaland now! It's 3.28 again!

I avoided yet another reaction! Well, 2-3 weeks back I met up with Robin, I was really happy that I met him because he shared with me his secrets towards market conditions which I think it is very valuable. At different stages of the market, one ought to know when to punt big and when to go small. To be able to learn and listen from a self made millionaire and the biggest punter in Singapore is an honor and my pleasure. I will of course share it in the course and the preview this coming Wednesday.

STI - Day Trading

Because US shutdown trading due to hurricane sandy, I would suggest day trading is the best option or best don't trade at all. I am watching a few counters like Midas, CMA, Ezion, Noble and Olam.

Geo Energy - A Deserved Loss

Just when I thought today is not a shorting day, I was proven wrong. Trading over the holiday period is really breaking one of my most important rules and buying over tips is even worse!

I was longed Geo Energy as I observed some kind of snapping activity. However, the more snapping it was, I knew it was a 1-2 man show, not the real operator behind Geo Energy. I was feeling malaise and uneasy, so I decided to take a loss first and watch how it pans out later. I would rather suffer a small loss without much emotion than to suffer a big loss with detrimental effects. The more I watch, I saw many panicky public wondering would this stock continue to breakout? To tell you the truth, at this stage, I have no idea too but to continue watching. Whatever it is, I am out and moving on to something else.

STI - Still No Shorting

Today it's still not wise to short the market. That's my game plan for the day. At the meantime, I have 9339 emails to clear which will take up most of my time. Profitable tradings ahead.

Dow Jones - 100+ Points Reversal

Yesterday was a public holiday. The Singapore market was closed and I was enjoying my shopping spree and chilling with my family. At 10.32am, a student of mine SMSed me while my phone was in silent mode. When I replied him at 12.12pm, I saw the Dow futures was about -100+ points during the Asia hours. I can't see the entire chart so I was thinking it was not looking good. At 2pm+ when I reached home and glanced through the chart when Dow was still -100+ points, this time round I knew the time for a rebound will come in the night, so at 3.08pm, I told him last night Dow had a chance for a rebound. In the night, when market opened, the Dow rebounded and when I woke up in the morning, all I saw was it closed positive.

Now, the Asia Market was off horrendously with Nikkei and Hang Seng and Shanghai down 1%+ during Asia hours because most of the traders are envisioning a bad bloody night in the US while I was the only speculator who dares to go against all odds and say a rebound will happen, counter trend against a sore market. In speculation, to make big money, one needs to defy all odds against the public and not think akin like them. Since everyone is selling, a speculator should buy so as to get dirt cheap price and when a rebound happens, he can let go easily at will while the mass public are rushing in to buy which contributes to rising price.

I shall elaborate more about this in the upcoming preview next Wednesday. This is my final preview before my course starts next weekend. Interested parties can come. Thank you.

Capitaland - The Science Behind Precision Timing

I am a born natural speculator. When it comes to the stock market, everything is about timing. I remembered in the past when everyone said timing the stock market is impossible, I took that as a challenge and turned that impossible to the possible. After posts by posts, I have proven that I am able to capture the essence of timing in the charts.

Yesterday at 9.06am, I told everyone to watch Capitaland as it was strong and I am timing my entry to the long side. During that time, Capitaland wasn't in the Top Volume and was hiding behind the scenes.
http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/capitaland-watch.html
However at 4.48pm, I emailed to all my students, I quote them: "I believe tomorrow we shall witness Capitaland appearing in Top Volume with price rising. We shall watch."

Today, we finally witnessed Capitaland appearing in the Top Volume after an hour of market opening with price rising!! Ain't it amazing?? Of course, talk is cheap because it doesn't involve emotional rides, to back up my conviction on what I saw at 9.06am yesterday, I proved it with my 150 lots of Capitaland punt as attached above. The rest is history.

Now my point is this, never let anyone put you down and when someone says you can't do it, use that as a motivation to work harder. There are a lot of motivational speakers and salesman in the market selling courses and giving talks, however they are not real speculators or traders. Those techniques they teach can be found in books and in the internet. There are also a lot of investment gurus, traders giving courses, however there is only 1 speculators that teaches things before it happen and that is me. I am not boasting myself, but I had proven and shown results.

Update 25/10/12, 11.21am

Minutes after the breakout, I received trade records from students and compliments from them that they made money. Truly made my day when I received these emails. It just tells me that they learnt something from the course which is so valuable yet simple.

Also I want to make a point here, traditional support and resistance don't work all the time. Look at one question from one of my student. He asked me about Capitaland at $3.30 is a wall price, that's like the resistance. Look at what I replied, I said, "I don't think too much or watch what. 3.3. Those are traditional stuff. The more u think n watch, the more u can't execute."
In speculation, we keep things to be simple, convicted when signals are flashing and be confident & fast in execution. That's a hallmark of a good speculator. The more we are entrapped in traditional stuffs like volume, support and resistance, the more we can't get a job done.

Also, another student sent me this news about Capitaland in the morning. Could it be this piece of news that drives the stock price? I don't know because I don't watch news. Whatever it is, the news is out and I am in the profits!

STI - Rebounded

STI rebounded as speculated!

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/sti-no-chasing.html

"Today the market will gap down, opened red and thereafter I believe it shall trend slowly upwards in a weak and slow fashion. We shall watch."

The one thing I was not correct was the weak and slow fashion rebound. Nevertheless, it still rebounded!

Ronald K - Market Psychologist - The Big Speculator

Capitaland - Watch!!

Watch Capitaland, it is strong in my opinion. I am timing my entry to the long side.

STI - No Chasing

If you missed a short yesterday, today is not a day to chase the market. I was sharing with a crowd in my preview last night that I missed a good short yesterday due to some administrative work and meetings. It caused me some thousands of dollars but it's ok, market is always there. As long as I am able to catch every single turn, I will still be making profits. Today the market will gap down, opened red and thereafter I believe it shall trend slowly upwards in a weak and slow fashion. We shall watch.

Next week is my last preview for the course and thereafter I am off to some other upcoming exciting projects. For those who are interested in the course, you can email me. I have got people paying me straight without coming to the previews because they believe what they saw. Artivision - 5 Days Before The Top Volume

To assists my students to make back their money from the course, 5 days ago, I emailed them to watch Artivision before it was at the Top Volume. Today it finally appeared in the Top Volume at the 2nd place. When a stock breakout with speed and velocity, it's always good to unload and book profits. Like I mentioned earlier, in a sideways market, there are no trends, every breakout is an unload and every breakdown is a load. You decide.

Update 23/10/12, 1.47pm

My student made money. I am happy for him because he put what I taught into practice. This is the spirit I am looking for in every student.

Dukang - Top Volume Operation

Yesterday I alerted all my students to watch out for Dukang. It wasn't in the Top Volume and was hiding in behind the scenes. I told them that the chart looked good but timing is equally important too. This morning, one of the student did actually punted at 0.325 and was out today at 0.335. In a time frame of only 10min, he was rewarded.

I am starting to see the reflection of myself in my students. They are getting faster in booking profits because they know profits can be eroded if there are Greed and Hope. In this market, every breakout is an opportunity to unload and every dip is an opportunity to load. There is no currently no trends in the market as it is moving sideways, so don't expect to make big $ unless you are in a trendy market. If one can make $ in the sideways market, then a trendy market shouldn't be any problem.

Noble - Escaped Reactions!

I think if I had any single tinch of greed or hope or emotions yesterday, today I shall be in a malaise mood. If I had not taken my profits in Noble yesterday, today, all my profits would have eroded and turned to losses. The point is never have emotions, fear, greed or hope in the market. Never have a target price because you never know where exactly is the BBs unloading. When BBs unload, it might not be the target price you are looking for. If you have that fixated target price in your mind and if it did not reach and if the stock go against your way, you suffer reactions. Period.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/noble-group-black-monday-profits.html

Got a quote from a forumer which is so true: "Once you realise your entry is all wrong, it's good to exit at small loss than to holding a full cycle just to breakeven. May take months or years.
There's a saying: If you start to dirft away, turn around and swim back as there is still the shore."

STI - Profit Taking Indeed Took Place!

Yesterday, I received emails, Facebook messages asking me what to long or punt. I told everyone not to do anything because I knew the timing was not right to touch anything as I can foresee some dip in STI today which I blogged about earlier at 8:48am in the morning.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/sti-profit-taking.html

Look at the STI charts as attached, the market indeed went accordingly to my forecast and profit taking indeed took place with STI not too red. In my speculation course, I shall teach my students timing. Nothing is more important than timing because one can get at a good price, however if the timing is off, then cutting losses is inevitable, agree?

Ronald K - Market Psychologist - The Big Speculator

STI - Profit Taking

Today the BBs will look to book some profits from yesterday which would cause the index to dip a little. STI will not open too red in the morning. I shall see what happens after profit taking and decide my next course of action.

Geo Energy - A Quick Breakout

At 4.12pm, I alerted everyone on my Facebook group to watch Geo Energy. Minutes later, the stock broke out to a high of 0.45. I believe one of them made money. I will sometimes give my calls in Facebook rather than blog because the blog might be a little slower. If you haven't add me to Facebook, you can add me at stockmarketmindgames@gmail.com

Oceanus - Top Volume Trapping?

The appearance of Oceanus in the Top Volume just leaves people flustered. It doesn't mean that if a stock appear in top volume, it's bullish. It just meant the BBs are either creating a honeypot to suck all public in so as to unload or it could mean it's ready to breakdown.

Look at Oceanus, this is one classic example where the stock appeared on Top Volume on 02/10/2012 and there after on 03/10/2012 it created a breakout to suck the public in. A lot of public were suck in to long this stock thinking it would breakout further only to realize days later that the BBs were secretly unloading bits by bits. As it continued to be liquidated to a low of 0.037/0.038, many were feared that it will go bankrupt and there was this one day on 05/10/2012 where the buy volume swelled up tremendously. My student alerted me and asked me about it, so I replied "it was just people queuing to buy, nothing to note." Think about this, the volume of the buy queue swelled up, why? It was because that was a con job to trick to public into thinking that this stock would broke out further so all would jump it.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/oceanus-40min-job.html

Then on Oct 17th during the preview, I told everyone I longed 600 lots of Oceanus because I thought it was bullish. To my wildest dream on Oct 18th when market opened in the morning, I saw some weakness in the stock which caused me to liquidate again without hesitation. If I hesitated, the loss would be more dithering now.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/10/oceanus-out.html

My point is this, when something is not right, get out first. Don't think why or have any hope. Don't think of any cut loss or target price. Everyone has a diff threshold level when it comes to money. When someone is selling secretly, don't hope and think that the stock can go higher and vice versa. Willing and taking a small lost is always better than tying up funds in a scary stock which you could have offload and reload it to other counters which have more potentials. This is the spirit of a speculator.

STI - No Shorting

It's not a shorting game today. Sorry guys, I was busy earlier watching, taking profits for my noble and blogging, totally forgot to post the most important outlook of the day. Nevertheless, it's better than not posting. Happy trading. :)
