STI - Mixed Signals

I have very mixed signals and I shall share that in my seminar on Dec 1st. It's really very tough to trade the market these days as it wasn't the same as it used to be in August 2011. Why? Because even though in August 2011 there were gaps, those gaps can make you rich but not in the current market. The seminar in Dec 1st shall be a good one because it shall be different from any other seminars you had attended before.

Today, I don't think I would want to short the market anymore. I am looking to long Genting.

Update 16/11/12, 1.15pm

STI trending higher as of now!!

Update 16/11/12, 7.15pm

Genting closed at a day high of 1.22/1.225.

Dow Jones - Student Small Profits

A student just traded Dow Jones for the sake for playing. Well 10 bucks in 8 mins is not bad considering it's only 1 lot. Can you imagine, I am still working on my projects. It's like there is no day no night for me. :(

Thai Beverage - Student's Trade Record

Jeremy just closed his Thai Beverage position and made a profit. Well as mentioned he could have taken it at the bottom but did not. Anyways a profit is a profit and it's always better to have profits in the pocket. It makes you happy. Congrats!

YHM - Selling Mode

Watch out YHM for those who have positions, it's in selling mode! It's scary to see a bubble bust with the operators behind selling heavily while the public thinks that price is cheap now.

The Science Behind Timing Seminar

I will be holding a seminar entitled "The Science Behind Timing". In life, everything we do, be it looking for jobs, buying a house or punting a stock, it's all about timing. While time cannot be calculated, it can be forecast. In this powerful seminar, I shall show how I time my entry in stocks a day just before it breakout/breakdown. I will also show the correlation between physical property and property stocks and how I use the charts to time my entry on purchasing a condominium at the low in 2009 as shown in the screenshot below.

Most educators, analysts and traders can give predictions, however they are lacking of the time element. As the only speculator herein Singapore, I am always inclined towards timing my purchase so that I am not caught in between. There’s a fine line between eccentrics and geniuses. If you’re a little ahead of your time you’re an eccentric, and if you’re a little too late, you’re a failure, but if you hit it right on the head, you’re a genius.

For all my students, we shall have a follow up session starting at 2.00pm onwards and I shall share the knowledge on The Art of Punting IPO stocks. There is no need for you to come for the morning session since I shall replicate it to you in the afternoon. Give others a chance.

For all others who are interested, this seminar is FREE and you are entitled to bring your friends along. However, you would need to register fast because seats are pretty limited as it's on first come first serve basis. There is no other person other myself who can talk about timing with precision. Find any educators, analysts, books, internet, newspaper, I don't see topics or results related to timing. My track and trade records speaks for itself, so register ASAP.

Please note, this is a seminar, NOT a preview. All are welcome to attend.

Seminar Date: 1st December 2012 Time: 9.30am to 11.30am
Venue: City Index Asia Pte Ltd
6 Battery Road
#20-01

(Next to Raffles Place MRT Station)

Student Trade Record

A student who came for my Nov course just sent me his trade records. It's amazing to see how much they grasped just in 2 days of my teachings. Thank you and congrats on your trades!

Thai Beverage - Continue Reactions

So ThaiBev continue to react and my heart continue to swell. Patience really cost me $ even though I shorted at the correct timing. Well, it's ok, because I have moved on. For those students who are still inside this trade, congrats and continue your good work. Jeremy, thanks for alerting me on this counter! Good analysis work!

Geo Energy & Oceanus - Losses For The Month Of Oct

Retrieving and scanning through my POEMS account statements, I thought it would be wise to post the amount of losses I made in the month of Oct. I made a lost of $18517 on Oceanus and $6512 on Geo Energy.

I remembered my Oceanus trade vividly where it wasn't about the emotion that I could not cut loss but more on making a promise to all my students that I would ride the trade with the BBs because I believe it would trend higher during that period of time. Then came the abyss of sleepless nights where I became fearful and worried about the company going bust which caused the liquidation of all my holdings on 15/10/2012. The biggest mistake I made in this trade was to hold on to a losing trade for a period of time and using my cash account as an alibi to switch myself into the investment mode. Instead of cutting losses fast which is my usual style, I planned to buy up the shares since I had the money to hold it. That's a no no and I paid a hefty lesson to buy an experience. So no matter how accurate or good am I as a speculator, as long as I still commit those intangible human mistakes, it shall burn a hole in my pocket. I was not upset or moody on the losses but moved on there after to my Capitaland and some other counters. Cash account is good, but I think CFD is better because it forces you to cut loss if you are on the wrong side which eliminates the ego and emotional part of human psychology.

Shortly thereafter, I traded Geo Energy on tips which was also a grief error which burned a bigger hole in my pocket. However this time round I was better where I cut loss much faster using my Cash account. The problem with Cash account is that when you are wrong and if you have the money to hold, there is a tendency to buy up the shares and hold through a losing trade. Because I learnt and remembered my Oceanus trade, it taught me a lesson to cut loss fast using Cash account and in the process I learnt a valuable skill on how to punt IPO stocks which I would share with all my students in Dec. Shortly after I cut my loss, I told my friend that Geo Energy was on the verge of breaking down and it really did.
http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/11/geo-energy-art-of-punting-ipo-stocks.html

Every loss is like a new discovery, new experience like what happened in the past where I need to so much money just to discover myself and a simple strategy. Without those losses, how would I ever gained enlightenment and wisdom? I treasure the memory of the past misfortunes because it has added more to my bank of fortitude.

Noble Group - Losing To Gain Experience

4 days ago, a student sent me his losing trade. Well, he made a wrong judgment so he paid for his loss. I believed this was a good lesson because he gained some valuable insights and enlightenment. Well losing is part of the game, so if you can't afford to lose, don't speculate, do investment. Every losing trade is like a step towards your final goal and destination. Every time when I lost, I don't harp on that losing trade but continue to move forward to find a better stock to punt. I really like his attitude because it reminds me of myself. One can lose money but not his confidence.

STI - Day Trading

Tomorrow is a public holiday, because I broken my rules before and lost quite a fair bit in Geo Energy trading over a holiday period, today is a no trading day for me. Even if I were to trade, everything must be squared off within the day itself. That's my plan for today.

Biosensor - A Small Punt

On Nov 8th, a student punt Biosensor and exited when there was a C.O.B. Luckily he was out else he is now in reactionary mode. The stock market is like a pool of of poisonous snake. There are certain indefinable exit points that define each precision-exit from the unloading action of the BBs.

Prescribing to a belief that gives meaning to the word meticulous, the process begins with careful studying then entering your position with the BBs and unload with them when they unload. No target price, no emotion, no greed and fear. Just follow their way and their actions.

Maintaining that, each step in the operation is well designed and not planned. The tradition of BBs operation is crystal clear upon observing their buying/selling campaign, so one just got to time his sales as close as possible to his so as to profit together with him.

Congrats and good job!

Dow Jones - Student's Profit

People always asked me, Ron can your method work in futures, commodities, forex, etc? I said yes. Why, first because I can predict the 300 point crash in Dow Jones that night so if by watching the Dow futures with my method and I know it will crash, then it works. I had students who told me they trade commodities and forex with it and it worked. The only time it doesn't work is when human emotion sets in where one cannot control his urges to punt the market after a streak of losses with no conviction and direction.

http://stockmarketmindgames.blogspot.sg/2012/11/dow-jones-obama-crash.html

So this student of mine actually traded the Dow and made profits. Though not a lot but still he managed to spot the bottom before it rebound then off loaded after it rebounded. When everyone is buying, we sell into that buying to secure profits since public help to push price higher. Congrats Mr Ng and see you in my students forum group in Dec.

Wilmar - Before the Breakout!

As I was busy yesterday, I did not managed to posit my student's trade record on my blog. I received many others' trade records and I shall post one by one soon.

A student who came for my 2nd batch course and thereafter come over to my preview just to speak and ask me some questions. Well, she really listened to me and follow what I preached. Profits in pocket is never wrong and I hope this gives you extra confidence and strength in your future trades. The stock market is not difficult to solve, the most difficult thing to resolve is the human mind and emotion because the stock market is just made up on emotion, nothing else. Just remember this!

In my preview next Monday, I shall share why did Wilmar brokeout yesterday and why the day before, Thursday was a good long. Tuesday is going to be a holiday so avoid taking any positions and come listen to me first. If you are interested, kindly register.

Capitaland - K Punt

I was very busy today meetings after meeting for the entire day. I just got home and thought it would be wise to share a stock I punted earlier before I got out from the office. I was watching Capitaland since yesterday and I knew I would have a chance today. So at 12.28pm, I shorted my first 50 lots of Capitaland at $3.43 because I saw some mini distribution in the minute chart. I was watching for a while and initiated my second batch of 50 lots at 13.15pm because I saw the selling was about to commence. Thereafter, I went for my never-ending meetings.

I was on the road and without Cityindex's platform, any execution needs to be done by calling the dealer. At 3.33pm, I finally saw it, I saw that it was about to turn so without those usual greed, fear, hope, I secured my profits of $2000 by executing my orders over the phone. Well, one might ask how did I know it's about to turn without a chart? Remember I told you all that I remember numbers in my head. Numbers are very important and when numbers changed like a change of behavior, I am cognizant of any imminent breakouts/breakdowns. Of course, this is the minute chart which has much much more noise than the daily. Capitaland is a very easy stock to read. I studied and understand it's behavior and so I was able to read the BBs movement 1-2 steps ahead before the breakdown.

When profit taking takes place, comes distribution and after distribution comes short selling and so that's what I did for what I preached in my stock operation course. Capturing the essence of profit taking with a streamlined short selling process that blends seamlessly with my stock operation course, I think that's the most simplest form of reading the minute chart.

Wilmar - Student's Profit

I know a few students bought Wilmar yesterday, however this is the first student who sent me her trade records. Need no explanation because she did what I preached and that was to buy when everyone panicky sell. Confidence comes when you made one good trade, continue your good work.
