What's for 2019 - Look for Banks
On Nov 17, I did an event and seminar with Societe Generale where I shared my market outlook 2019 and also what stocks to watch and look out for in 2019. I shared that to win the market and to be effectively and having an winning edge in short term trading, you would be to be one step ahead of the game by longing before the breakout and shorting before the breakdown. It's a crucial skill and knowledge to have during this volatile and turbulent times. As highlighted, I predicted on Nov 17 during the talk that the market would turned very volatile and indeed, what we witnessed now was 100% correct till yesterday when the Dow crashed -660 points. So what's specific counter and what price levels to watch out for the banks? I will reveal more in my personal talk next week.

Top Volume Stocks - Stocks Gap Down
Most stocks gap down today and nothing really climbed. The Dow Jones got sold down -660 points while everything seemed gloomy and at this point, it's hard for the market to climb. As highlighted since last year Oct period that the market would be volatile and indeed, the market reacted accordingly to what i foresee. I really believe in short term trading is the way to go for now instead of buy and hold since the trading range is huge. Study the Top 30 Volume attached above, you will see the market is on the cautious mode. Stocks are stagnant while they might be distributed for more down side to come. During this turbulent times, it's a very good opportunity to make $$ doing short term trading shorting the market. Get ready!

DBS - Stock Tumbling Down
As the market continued to turn sour while many stocks started to tank further, DBS was no sparred. When I saw the winning trade record from my student who shorted the counter yesterday and DBS continue to slip down further today, I knew he is suing his skills to do it every single day to make $. The question was how did he shorted yesterday and knew it was going to tank today? Study the 5 minute chart, look closely and you will see that the lacked of buying power was the key for the sellers to take advantage of the buyers by doing a short selling. The buying power was so weak that buyers were virtually non existent. Will DBS continue to tank further? Let's see because the Top 30 Volume is flashing DBS for some time now.

DBS, UOB - Profits From Students
Superb profits shorting the banks down when the market tanked. Not my profits but it's definitely good $$ from my students who made $ when the market suddenly reversed. The Singapore market looks weak and opportunities are abundant. Happy to see profits from hungry students who wants to make $. Congrats!

Dow Jones - Volatile with Choppy Range
The Dow Jones rebounded yesterday with speed and finesse. At one glace, I thought the market was recovering and the bulls were coming back but then at one glance with the profit takings in place, the market was still bearish and true enough the Dow Jones gap down again this morning with more sellers. The whole market was in stalled where the market jammed and it cannot move. Made $1467 USD swinging the trade last evening where looking to short with the big wind was the correct direction. Looking forward to the next trade. If you are interested in trading short term with Ronald K, do register for my event on Jan 15 where I will give you some cues on how to zip in/out using some strategies.

Hence, today marked the first day of my sharing and looking forward to tomorrow's Malaysia preview and the KL preview next week. It's going to be a long month for me as I will work till exhaustion and get out of my comfort zone. Looking forward to assist more traders. Thank you guys tonight and see you all soon.

Hi-P - Traded 150 Lots
Hi-P, a stock which looked bullish on Monday together with the other tech stocks started to falter apart today because of the protest in Hong Kong which caused the HSI to crashed -700 points. Earlier in the morning the market was bullish which I thought it might climb higher but suddenly I saw the buy/sell Q flip with hidden selling which I told all my guys to lock in profits and get out. It was yet another close shave but nevertheless, profits in pocket is never wrong. Traded 150 lots and managed to get out in the morning with good intraday $.

Hi-P - Profits Made on Tech Stocks
Some of my guys longed Hi-P on Monday and the stock gap up and ran a little today. Although the market was half day on Monday, still like I said, there were some good stocks for trading and the tech sector looks bullish when the collections were nicely setup. As Hi-P gap up and ran further today, most of us sold it at 0.90-0.905 before the market started to tumble with HSI tanking -700 points. I was pleased not with the profits made but more on the sharpness to sell Hi-P before the market tanked.

AEM - Turned Up Happened Today
Just as posted yesterday that AEM was about to turn up, the stock turned up today too fast and shot to a high of 0.85 now. Monday's action was bullish and it was brought over to today's up move. In fact, I posted on the bullishness in the market on my blog on Monday when I pen down my observation skills on the bank stocks and property counters. And then later yesterday, I studied the chart for AEM and it indeed turned up today. Although I did not traded AEM, still managed to make profits in other tech counters.

AEM - Watching for A Turn
Although the market had trended up a little in the last 2 days of 2018, still there wasn't much movements in the overall underlying stocks while only the banking stocks were moving. I will be watching AEM closely for the coming days as I think there is a chance of it moving up temporary. By analyzing the chart for supply/demand zones, this counter is currently at the demand zone as the clues were pretty obvious. In the short term, I am watching this counter for a turn up. Let's see soon.
