DBS - Shorting With Results

We had been punting at DBS for the last week or so. Ever since the DBS bearish newsletter was sent out last week, DBS had been our favourite bearish setup stock for trading.

Today DBS reported 2Q profits however the people started selling the stock. Why would a good piece of news contributed to a breakdown then? The stock market is not too much on news driven but rather supply and demand with BBs buying/selling. DBS's good news was released @ the top and from studying DBS, it has an exhausted gap up, followed by constant price rejection from the upper band, that was the signal to short DBS. Student made $1400, not bad for a day worth of job. :)

CEFC Intl - Big Boys Unloading Last Friday

Last Friday I made a blog post that CEFC Intl has big boys unloading LIVE. And true enough within minutes, the reactions and selling occured.

Today, the stock gap down with an exodus of the Big Boys because of a bad news. CEFC Intl is still mulling fund raising and loan as it seems. The Fake breakout in the Daily chart with that exhausted gap up in the 5 min chart were all bearish signals to sell CEFC Intl. Congrats to those who booked profits. :)

Yoma - Profits, $ in Pocket First

Not me but my student. He was using multiple accounts to trade Yoma. He was really big and I believe he traded almost 1600 shares in Yoma which is really a guy with big guts. I applaud him for that but more importantly, he uses the skill I taught to sell Yoma at breakouts when retailers were chasing. Congrats!

I think the right thing to do now is to sell Yoma on breakout. In the 5 min chart, there was a gap down with selling on top. Retailers were also chasing.

STI - End of Day Scans

This is the end of day scans from the Top 30 volume. Many stocks started to recover a bit and the Dow will turn green tonight. The flush in Noble was also so powerful that it sprung up and recovered. Can't wait for the action tomorrow. :)

China Sports - Continued Reactions

China Sports continued its reactions after yesterday's sell down. In the short term, the turning point for this stock is still not here yet. Still a little bullish but the timing is off. Continue watching.

Noble Group - A Wrong Call

We recently cut loss in Noble. While I am currently watching the market now, I saw heavy selling in Noble which I suspect it could be a Flush. The heavy sell down followed by retailers throwing were signs of panic selling. In the near term, I expect Noble to rebound but it's crucial to get in at the right time. I shall monitor.

Cacola - History Repeats

Back in 14/04/2014, Cacola and the ultra pennies had a super charged up and in just a matter of a few days, the fuel died down and the stock collapsed thereafter. The good thing was one of my students managed to used the skills I taught in the Stock Operation Course and made a whopping $48,000 out of it.

A year and 3 months later, same thing, Cacola had a super charged up yesterday and followed by a huge sell down today from 0.027 to 0.019, same trick, same maneuver. In the recent 1 week, many ultra penny stocks were germinating in the Top Volume but I was staying out because for the first time ever, I had phobia playing playing stocks and did not give any penny stock calls.

While I had been punting penny and blue chips stocks for years already, my next challenge is to find and trade growth stocks. It's not an easy task but I believe it's certainly possible. It's just requires time and patience to slowly look for it. To reach the next level, I had to get out of my comfort zone to do something uncomfortable yet tiring and tedious. In the near term, I am looking more on the swing trades and growth stocks. I shall work hard towards my dream. :)

China Sports - Retailers Chasing Followed by Reactions

Studying the chart for China sports, it seemed as though many retailers were chasing after the stock yesterday to only realized that today it suffered some reactions. The market is currently taking a breather and so is China sports. In the near term, I am still bullish on this counter but one must hop in @ the right time. I will be watching it.

NOL - Traded The Warrants

Today NOL gap up based on some good news. However last Friday, one of my student had already bought in the NOL warrant in waiting for the after market good news that was about to released. Today when the stock gap up in the morning, he went on to lock in profits. The whole process only took 1 day and it was certainly a good feeling when the stock gap up and $$ was secured. I will share how to spot good counters in the workshop tomorrow. Don't miss it.
