Attached is one of my student's trade record. She trades mostly the DAX and Dow with 5 contracts and made $$. People normally asked me: "Ron, you trade very big contracts and lot size, can we follow?" My answer is always Yes. I trade big lot size because I am very confident of my strategies and skills and also my pocket is deep so I go big. Moreover when you want to learn from someone, you wanna learn from someone who had done it all, not from someone who trades 50 lots, or a salesman or an educator. So if your pocket is small or average, you trade accordingly to your own accustomed level. Everybody is different but the ultimate goal is the same, make $$! :)
